Kaya Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation in Orkney - Homepage
Kaya (meaning 'Home' in Zulu) is a new purpose-built Orkney Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation in Orkney both located in the neolithic heartland of the Orkney Islands. With stunning views across the loch of Stenness towards the Ring of Brodgar, Orkney's archaeology and trout fishing lochs are literally on Kaya's doorstep.
Kaya is situated three miles away from Stromness, the town where the ferry from the Scottish Mainland arrives. Kaya Bed and Breakfast is 100 meters from the main bus route between Stromness and Kirkwall and so is ideal for walkers. Kaya Self Catering is located on a working farm, a quarter of a mile apart from Kaya Bed and Breakfast, but only twenty metres from the main bus route.
Cyclists will find themselves a mere half an hour away from the ferry and only ten minutes from some of the most amazing archaeological scenery Orkney has to offer. Take a look at our What's Nearby page to get an idea of how centrally located Kaya Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation is.
100 metres from the road, Kaya Bed and Breakfast has a safe and substantial garden for children to play in, and has adequate, safe and free parking space for your car. Meanwhile, Kaya Self Catering is situated away from the road and has plenty of parking space for your car. As it is attached to a working farm, we're sure children and adults alike will be facinated by the animals in the fields surrounding Kaya Self Catering.
Designed and built in 2007 to operate as a Bed and Breakfast, Kaya has everything the guest could need to have a relaxing holiday. Kaya Self Catering Cottage was modernised and redecorated in 2011.
We pride ourselves on our modern and tastefully decorated rooms, which are warm and comfortable. Guests of all ages are more than
welcome! One of our Bed and Breakfast rooms is disabled-friendly, and travel cots and high chairs are available on request for guests with young families in both Kaya Bed and Breakfast and Kaya Self Catering.
Open all year round, we are more than willing to accommodate guests arriving on the 11pm ferry from Aberdeen and Lerwick, and those wishing to leave on the 6.30am ferry from Stromness to Scrabster.
We can accommodate holiday-makers and business travellers at Kaya Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation in Orkney. We accept VISA and other major credit cards. Please contact us first to ensure that we have luxurious and comfortable accommodation available just for you!!
