Both rooms are en-suite with showers. You will also find Tea and Coffee making facilities and flat screen TVs with Freeview.

A:
In Kaya Bed and Breakfast, our twin room has a level access shower and there is wheelchair access to the house.

Q: Can I smoke in Kaya Bed and Breakfast?
A:
Kaya Bed and Breakfast is no smoking , however guests can smoke outside and we have created patio and garden areas outside specially for guests to enjoy the views of the Ring of Brodgar.

Q: Are there parking spaces near Kaya Bed and Breakfast?
A:
We have a large parking area at the front of the Bed and Breakfast which is free and close enough for the heaviest item of luggage!

Q: I don't have a car - can I reach Kaya Bed and Breakfast on foot?
A:
Kaya Bed and Breakfast is 100 metres from the main Stromness to Kirkwall road, so buses can be easily and regularly caught.

A:
We have a high chair, booster seat and cups, plates and cutlery for children. If guests need to bath small children they are welcome to use our baby bath.

Sorry - we do not accommodate any pets except support dogs.

Q: Are there any grocery shops nearby?
A:
There is a supermarket which is a five minute drive away, and a small shop and garage which is less than a mile away.

Q: Are there any restaurants or pubs nearby?
A:
The Standing Stones Hotel is a 15 minute walk away and serves evening meals and has a bar. The pub quiz on a Tuesday night is recommended!

Q: Are there any petrol stations nearby?
A:
There is a small garage less than a mile away.

Q: Is Kaya Bed and Breakfast close to the ferry?
A:
The Scrabster to Stromness ferry is a 5 minute drive away. The Aberdeen / Shetland / Kirkwall Ferry is a 20 minute drive away and the Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope ferry is a 45 minute drive away.

Q: Are Orkney's archaeological attractions nearby?
A:

Yes, though we would appreciate if late arrivers could inform us in advance whenever possible.
